The Assist to Hairline Design (AHD) is a one-of-a-kind device designed to help create the most symmetrical and natural hairline placement possible. This is the quickest, easiest and most cost-effective hairline design tool available.
The AHD is made of lightweight plastic and is available in a re-usable and a disposable variety. The re-usable version includes an elastic strap to secure the device on the patient’s head and is perfect to use during consultations or prior to hair transplant surgery. The disposable variety is self-adhesive and can be used during surgery.
To use the AHD, align the vertical center line with the patient’s nose, centering it between the eyes. The horizontal “0” line should be aligned with the eyebrows or the glabella while ensuring horizontal alignment with the lateral canthi. Hair line points are then marked along the vertical scale.
Disposable AHDs are available in packets of 12 and re-usable devices are available in a pack of 6.
