Each CIT^TM manual punch handle is custom made to accept the razor sharp punches available exclusively from Cole Instruments. Each handle allows for minimal depth control, which is essential to CIT^TM. The minimal depth control feature of CIT^TM reduces the risk of follicle injury known as follicle transection.Follicle transection may reduce the survival rate of the follicle.Therefore, it is advantageous to reduce the risk as much as possible. Only the CIT^TM handle allows for the precise control of incision depth with punches exclusively available from Cole Instruments.

These punches allow for minimal friction during graft harvesting.The minimal friction reduces the fluid movement of both the skin and the follicular unit.
