I had the opportunity to visit Dr. Cole and watch a few surgeries. I was very impressed with two points. First, all the instruments he created to solve so many problems. They make every step seem to be easy and safe. Second, the team worked in such a logical way that time was not wasted and everything flows naturally. Now I can understand how FUE can allow the same number of grafts as FUT, but with many advantages. I intend on improving my practice after I could learn from him. Dr. Cole, congratulations for your great job and thank you for sharing your knowledge.

What I observed was, Dr. Cole developed an excellent team and they are doing excellent work. They placed 2500 grafts in a matter of 4 hours. Dr. Cole has excellent quality instruments which he himself invented and they are so easy to use…He does a very excellent job of follicular unit extraction. I’m sure the results from what I have seen, are going to be superb and the patient will benefit from the work he had done at Dr. Cole’s clinic.

The CIT punches are without question the most superior FUE punches being produced today. The serrated internally sharpened edge virtually glides into the tissue with little pressure being required. Although I am very experienced in FUE these punches have further improved my graft quality, reduced my transection rate, increased my harvesting speed, and improved the healing of my donor sites

I was one of the first hair surgeons in 2009 to use the NeoGraft device. I believe it to be a fine device, but when I first used Dr. Cole’s device at the FUE Palazoo in Denver Colorado in 2012, I fell in love with it and I bought one because it is that good.
I can honestly say my T rates have dropped from 5-10% range when I used the NeoGraft, to 3-5 % range with Dr. Cole’s PCID. Some days my T rates are 1-2 % and I give all the credit to the quality of the punches and design of the system. My harvesting rates have gone from 250- 300 grafts per hour, to well over 500 -600 grafts per hour. I owe this all to the design of the punches and FUe device.
On the design of the punches, they have a decrease surface area that reduces forces that tend to increase follicular trauma or transection. The steel is hardened compared to the NeoGraft punches that are not hardened. The Cole punches are also designed to be the sharpest in the world, so when using a limited depth technique with FUE, your T rates are typically reduced.
The last very important issue to address is that hand fatigue and repetitive motion type symptoms. These problems are rarely discussed in physician forums. But this problem is very serious because on a long term basis, physicians using manual FUE or FUE utilizing motorized devices have musculoskeletal problems. With the PCID device I have found my aches and pains are dramatically reduced with the Cole device. This is because the PCID and sharp punches reduce the work load and microtrauma to the FUE operator.

Dr. Sikos has been using the Turkish punches after seeing them at Melike Kulahci's workshop 2 years ago.
In the Bahamas, I bought a set of your punches and we started using them last November. We like them and the last time Dr. Sikos was over a couple of weeks ago, it was clear that your punches were our preferred ones. I think my nurse has or is about to order some more.

I have seen many people practices and how they perform hair surgery. Your methodologies are the most advance and sophisticated I have seen.Much more important, they are common sense and within reach. Your device is certainly better than the NeoGraft, Harris, or True devices. I feel the Artas still has a way to go. They are working out the flaws.
In Orlando when they demonstrated the Artas device, I was not impressed with the harvested grafts. Their stated harvest rate may be fast once you get the spreading device attached. But the details and other requirements between changing areas slows down the device dramatically. They were only able to do 600 grafts in two hours on one case they demonstrated. I wonder how the device would be if they used your punches and design.
I am excited about the positive changes with your device in my practice.

Hair Transplant Doctor - Don't want to disclose his name
It was a pleasure talking with you and seeing you in action during the Denver workshop. I have been to several of the FUE workshops over the years and have been routinely disappointed with all of the nonsense and hype that has often been presented. You clearly stand tall above the crowd with your comprehensive research, creativity and superb technique. I can't tell you how much I appreciated the quality of your presentations and your fine surgical technique.

Just thought I would let you know that I did a 1425 FUE yesterday (in 11 hours). I used your manual punch and am an enthusiast of sharps bits and manual oscillation. I am most indebted to you for the generosity of sharing your experiences.

Thank you very much for the fast repair! Everything works perfect. I did 2100 FUE's yesterday and 2300 today. I'm used to do 500 extractions in half an hour and make a few minutes pause and continue this way.
I started to reduce the diameter of the punch and I get still good FUs with a low transection rate and less skin. With the modification I think the PCID runs smoother and the serrated punches are really great. With them I can work faster and I was already fast!
Hope to see you soon and say hello to everybody.

Dr. Elliott has used the newly improved device that you have sent to us, and it works fantastic! Thanks again!!

Just wanted to say thank you for letting me work with the Programmable Cole Isolation Device. I think the PCID is just brilliant and I can see how the graft count can now sky rocket. This is better for the patient, the doctor, the team, etc. Truly brilliant! Your manual instruments were amazing, but the PCID is a stroke of genius.
