Dr. Konior is board-certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO) and a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified in hair restoration surgery and is one of the founding members of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.

Dr. Konior has written 25 publications, including the editing of several books.
