Dr. Shapiro is recognized by his peers as a leading expert in the field of Hair Transplant Surgery. He was the first physician to be asked do a live surgery demonstrating the technique of follicular unit grafting for his peers (Done at the Annual ISHRS conference in Las Vegas 1995). Since that time he has been asked to lecture, run workshops, and perform live surgical demonstrations at more than twenty five major international and national conference in the past 6 years.
