Procedure Overview

Key steps from the demonstration:

• Barrel Assembly:
  • Loosen the barrel to begin setup.
• Inserting the Punch:
  • Loosen the collet.
  • Insert the CIT punch into the collet.
  • Tighten the collet to secure the punch in place.
  • Reinsert and tighten the barrel.
• Adjusting Punch Depth:
  • The side window on the barrel has measurement lines, each marking 1 mm.
  • Loosen the locking nut to adjust.
  • Turning the barrel clockwise extrudes more of the punch (1 full turn = 1 mm).
  • Once the desired depth is reached, tighten the locking nut.
  • Adjust as needed for more or less depth by loosening and retightening the locking nut.
