The Vortex nosecone (blue tip) is used with our Vortex (Cole Dissection Device – CDD). It consists of two parts. The main unit holds the various punches that Cole Instruments sells, along with the bottom of the nosecone fitting onto the Vortex motor housing. The blue tip goes over the punch that has been inserted and locked into the main unit. This tip screws on and is used for depth control between 0,0 mm and 5.0 mm in 0.1 mm increments. A new Vortex nosecone is $540.
