The Electric Chilling Device (Single Plate) allows for consistent and accurate control of tissue temperature and allows physicians to set a variety of temperatures in an effort to define the optimal temperature for survival.

Description

Chilling tissue reduces the metabolic demand of cells and the need for energy produced by anaerobic metabolism. Most physicians chill petri dishes on ice inside a tray or plastic container. Unfortunately, ice melts progressively over the course of a day. The chiller plate overcomes the risk of temperature change by maintaining a constant temperature during the day. It also allows the physician to dial in a specific temperature such as 4 or 8 degrees Celsius.

Features:

  • Accurately controls tissue temperature
  • Low Temperature tissue storage reduces tissue metabolism
  • Steady temperature control

Benefits:

  • Accurate
  • Consistent
  • Ease of use
